About CMTEQ

Empowering engineers through practical education and knowledge sharing

📖 Our Story

CMTEQ is run by Chad Massala, an Electrical Engineer based in Cape Town, South Africa, and is linked to the CMTEQ YouTube Channel.

The journey began during Chad's undergraduate studies when he noticed a recurring challenge: many students were struggling with fundamental power system topics such as per unit systems and short circuit symmetrical fault analysis.

Driven by a passion to help his peers, Chad started releasing basic tutorial videos explaining these complex concepts in simple, understandable terms. What began as a small effort to help fellow students quickly grew beyond expectations.

🌍 Global Impact

From those humble beginnings, the CMTEQ YouTube channel has since drawn interest from students and professionals all over the world. Today, our content reaches engineers across continents, helping them master electrical engineering concepts and advance their careers.
